Question 1

What is Goetia?

Accepted Answer

Goetia is the practice of evoking the 72 spirits catalogued in the Lesser Key of Solomon, each with a seal, a rank and a described office. Modern practice usually drops the coercion of the older grimoires and treats the spirits as aspects of the mind or as entities, depending on the practitioner.

Question 2

How do I start with Goetia?

Accepted Answer

Read the beginner material first, pick one spirit whose office matches a real need, prepare the seal, and work in a calm, private space with a clear statement of intent. Skipping the reading stage is the most common cause of confusing results.

Question 3

Are the seals necessary?

Accepted Answer

The seal is the working anchor: it identifies the spirit and focuses attention. Most practitioners use the classical seal and, if they also design their own sigil, keep it as a separate personal anchor.

Question 4

Is Goetia dangerous?

Accepted Answer

The honest answer is that the risk is mostly psychological and practical: fear, obsession and risky decisions taken in a charged state. The site ethics guide covers the ground rules, and the first-hand reports show what actually went wrong and why.
