Question 1

What is the difference between lucid dreaming and astral projection?

Accepted Answer

A lucid dream is a dream in which you know you are dreaming. Astral projection is reported as leaving the body and perceiving a non-physical environment. The induction overlap is large, which is why practitioners usually start with recall and lucidity before attempting projection.

Question 2

How long does it take to have a lucid dream?

Accepted Answer

Most people report a first lucid dream within one to three weeks of consistent practice. The three factors that matter most are daily dream journaling, recurring reality checks and following MILD before sleep.

Question 3

Which technique should a beginner use?

Accepted Answer

MILD plus a written dream journal, with WBTB on non-working days. WILD is more demanding and usually works better once recall is already reliable.

Question 4

Which app is best?

Accepted Answer

Pick by the feature you will actually use: Dream Machine for induction protocols and a journal, Lucid Dream for projection work, Astral Lab for hypnagogia and chart sessions. All three are one-time purchases that work offline.
